AI & Automation Strategy Lead at WTW

About This Role

The Role  Strategic Partnership & Collaboration Act as the primary liaison between GCO, the WE DO Corp IT Platforms team, and the Automation and AI COEs, fostering a collaborative and transparent working relationship. Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to understand business needs and build technology solutions that support operational goals. Technology Strategy & Roadmap Development Maintain current‑state assessments of GCO tools, systems, and processes, documenting strengths, gaps, and opportunities. Establish and maintain a comprehensive technology and automation roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities and future‑state vision. Process Optimization & Automation Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency through automation and process redesign. Recommend and shape automation solutions that deliver measurable impact on efficiency and cost reduction. Technology Implementation Partner closely with IT teams to design, evaluate, and implement technology solutions – including RPA, AI, machine learning, and other emerging capabilities. Support project planning, requirements gathering, and development to ensure successful implementation of new tools and features. Vendor Partnership Collaborate with Vendor Management to evaluate external technology partners and provide feedback on vendor performance, capabilities, and future enhancements. Change Adoption Promote continuous learning and encourage team proficiency in emerging technologies, automation and AI. Work Environment Operate effectively in a fully remote role, demonstrating accountability, communication, and self‑management. Contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing team culture. This role will require working US hours. - The Requirements  Core Competencies Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate across IT, business operations, and vendor teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. Demonstrated capability in process analysis, workflow optimization, and the application of automation tools. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence without formal authority. Technical Skills Experience with automation platforms, RPA tools, and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning. Ability to evaluate technology capabilities and document requirements for both business and technical audiences. Additional Preferred Skills Background in technology planning, operational workflow design, or digital transformation. Experience assessing vendor tools and collaborating with third‑party providers. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in AI, automation, or related fields
• Proven track record of developing and implementing AI and automation strategies
• Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and robotics
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies, such as Docker
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Kubernetes
